whole cakes + desserts

We accept special orders of the following whole cakes & desserts with a minimum of 5 days’ notice. We do regularly reach capacity, so we recommend giving as much notice as possible.

At this time, we are unable to make custom cakes that differ from the options listed below. 


Cakes

Our layer cakes are all 9" round cakes and serve 12-16 people.

We are happy to add writing to our Chocolate & Lemon Chiffon cakes for an additional $3. Because our Carrot & Victoria Sponge Cakes are "naked" (not frosted on the top), we are unable to add writing.

The Chocolate Cake
Our Chocolate Cake is the layer cake that owner Rachael always dreamed of but could never find - until now.

Bakeshop Carrot Cake
Four layers of classic carrot cake with dates, walnuts, & our unique cream cheese frosting, enhanced with mascarpone and whipped cream. Please note: this cake is “naked” and not frosted on the top or sides.

(Summer Only) Victoria Sponge Cake
Two layers of classic yellow sponge cake with mascarpone and berries,
fresh fruit, or seasonal compote. Please inquire about flavors & availability.

Seasonal Galette
Free-form tart made with flaky all-butter pastry, almond cream and seasonal fruit.
Examples include: Rhubarb, Apple, Peach, Berry, Pear.  Please inquire for current selection.

Passionfruit Meringue Tart
An 8" version of our popular individual tart. Tender sweet pastry dough filled with passionfruit curd
and topped with quenelles of soft, toasted Swiss meringue. Serves 6-8.
